I once heard a saying that "our journey is not just meant for our journal". I believe that we are all on assignment and our life experiences are not just our "personal" journey but a testimony that God has given us to a. draw us close to Him; b. strengthens us to prepare us for our next assignment and c. to encourage and be an example for others because quite frankly life is not meant to go through it alone. You ever go through something and think, 'is it just me'? Trust me, it's not! As women and especially black women we carry a lot of the weight of the world.  We give life, we support life, we nurture, we build, provide direction and order- let's face it, we are the backbone of our communities. Being a woman is a BEAUTIFUL thing, but it can sometimes be lonely and exhausting, that is why we need a village... a support village- a place to be seen, heard, understood and even challenged to stretch to our full potential. I created this space to share my personal thoughts and experiences and most importantly to create a village of support that will allow us as women to be BOLD, AUTHENTIC and VULNERABLE.  shaRealtalk a safe space for open and real conversations about that challenges we simply face as women, how we overcome and celebrate our wins no matter how big or small. Let's do this thing together and embrace the beauty of our shared experiences.
